Previously Chief Financial Officer of the Institut Telecom, Godefroy Beauvallet has joined the AXA Group on March 1, 2011 to lead the AXA Research Fund, the scientific philanthropy initiative created by AXA to support research focused on understanding and preventing the risks threatening the environment, human life and our societies.

The AXA Research Fund Awards its First Grant in Asia to NUS for a Study on the Biology of Decision Making Under Risk
The Newcastle University and the AXA Research Fund linked up to create a permanent Chair on Longevity and Healthy Active Life. Endowed with 750,000 euros, this permanent chair will be held by Professor Carol Jagger.

HEC Paris and the AXA Research Fund have just launched a Chair for Decision Science, dedicated to the study of decision making. This permanent Chair will be held by Israeli researcher Prof Itzhak Gilboa.
