The AXA Research Fund is glad to invite you to the launch of its first AXA Chair in Japan on “Health and Human Security”, held by Professor Manami Inoue at the Graduate School of Medicine, University of Tokyo. Professor Inoue will study the potential for disease prevention through the reduction of major risk factors in Japan, the country with the longest life expectancy in the world.


We would like to invite you to join us for the final workshop of the AXA-LSE project: "The AXA Research Project on How can private long-term care insurance supplement state systems? The UK as a case study."


Launch of the AXA – University of Strasbourg Chair on Supramolecular Chemistry, in the presence of Henri de Castries, AXA Group Chairman and CEO. The Chair Holder's objective will be to strengthen fundamental research in the field and to develop the applications of supramolecular chemistry to find new solutions for treating ageing-related illnesses


Launch of the AXA – Sciences Po Chair of Economic Sociology, in the presence of Cyrille de Montgolfier, AXA Group Senior Vice President of European and Public Affairs. The Chair will be dedicated to "Understanding Consequences of Market Instability for Politics and Society".


For the first time, the AXA Research Fund has gathered 4 young researchers around AXA CEO Henri de Castries at the AXA Headquarters in Paris.

Pierre-André Chiappori quoted AXA Research Fund as a model of corporate funding of research

Pierre-André Chiappori, Professor of Economics at Columbia University, just published a study about the funding of research. He was interviewed on BFM radio to briefly present its results and quoted Henri de Castries and the AXA Research Fund as a model of corporate funding of research.
