President of the Scientific Board

Professor Thomas Kirkwood
Dean of Ageing and Director of the Changing Age Initiative at Newcastle University (UK).
His research is focused on the basic science of ageing and on understanding how genes as well as non-genetic factors, such as nutrition, influence longevity and health in old age.

Pierre-André Chiappori, Professor of Economics at Columbia University, just published a study about the funding of research. He was interviewed on BFM radio to briefly present its results and quoted Henri de Castries and the AXA Research Fund as a model of corporate funding of research.
